A teenager from those eras would reminisce good times at the cinema when the kacang putih was scooped on to rolled up newspapers, magazines and even phone directories for 10 cents each.

From a small family business specializing in spice products, we have grown and expanded the product list to include kacang putih. Usually long, curly and crunchy, spices lend a more pronounced flavour to this stringy snack.

Star Muruku is an equally long and crunchy variant of Omopodi,. However, its star-shaped outlook gives it a slightly more distinct taste.

3) Bombay Mixture
A spicy mixture which consists of fine strands of spicy muruku mixed with spicy dried ingredients, which may include fried peanuts, peas, chickpea, flour noodles,corn, flaked rice, green beans and sometimes added with curry leaves for a more aromatic flavour. A true mixture of several things in which every handful is like a burst full of flavour in your mouth!
